The Pompeii Children’s Museum is a learning-oriented museum designed to guide children in discovering culture through hands-on experience.
We offer educational activities for schools of all levels, developed in dialogue with teachers and aligned with the national curriculum guidelines.
Visiting Pompeii is like stepping into a past that’s still alive.
Entry through Porta Anfiteatro leads visitors straight into the oldest amphitheatre of the Roman world (70 BC), the Palestra Grande, a place of physical and intellectual training, and domus where vineyards and gardens were cultivated for producing wine and perfumes.
The tour continues along the ancient city walls, next to a necropolis with numerous funerary monuments dating to the 1st century BCE.

Prices are intended per school group of up to 25 participants (including accompanying adults).
Please arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
At the entrance, you will be asked to provide a list of participants on school letterhead, stamped and signed.
