The Pompeii Children’s Museum is a learning-oriented museum designed to guide children in discovering culture through hands-on experience.

We offer educational activities for schools of all levels, developed in dialogue with teachers and aligned with the national curriculum guidelines.

Where? Pompeii

The ruins tell the story of what remains. Augmented Reality makes it possible to see what once was.

A 2-hour experience in the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, during which participants, through AR Glasses with transparent lenses, can observe three-dimensional reconstructions and decorative elements overlaid onto the actual ruins.
The comparison between what is visible today and the reconstruction of the original environments makes it easier to understand the architecture, the functions of the buildings and aspects of everyday life in ancient Pompeii.

Prices are intended per school group of up to 25 participants (including accompanying adults).
Please arrive at the ticket office 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
At the entrance, you will be asked to provide a list of participants on school letterhead, stamped and signed.
